IRADA Objectives
IRADA
is a National
Development Program and part of the Economic and Social
Productivity Program (ESPP). IRADA aims to help Jordanians
develop a readiness for entrepreneurship and empower them to
become self-reliant,
productive
citizens who are able to actively contribute to the
socio-economic development of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
This program is part of an initiative launched in 2002 by the
Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation (MOPIC) to
address the problem of poverty and unemployment.
Operation and Management
IRADA is
managed in its second phase
by the Royal Scientific Society Consortium (RSSC).
IRADA Components:
IRADA
through its 22 centers located through out Jordan and the
central support unit provides a wide range of services to new
investors and business owners to ensure the success of their
projects. These services include the following:

Consultancy Services
that offer development of business and investment ideas,
feasibility studies and business plans, marketing
studies, law and regulations through facilitation of linkage
with concerned government institutions, guidance and support to
existing businesses wishing to expand or improve, financial
advice

Training Sessions to introduce new entrepreneurs
to basic management concepts

Seminars
and Guest Speakers to raise awareness of new business
opportunities, technologies that help improving productivity,
market and consumer needs, law and regulations

Referral
Training to improve technical and managerial skills of new
investors and their employees

Internship
Program, , in the form of a temporary job, aims at introducing
new graduates to the work environment and allows them to gain
first hand experience before they start their careers
