Project Objectives

·         Capacity building for civil societies.

·         Developing civil society's capacities in order to implement and manage income-generating projects within the economical development agenda.

·         Enhancing and creating partnerships between various economical sectors that endorse civil societies.

·         Enhancing civil societies' legal environment by providing information and creating linkages between local societies and the private sector, in addition to highlighting the society's role in serving the local communities.

 

Operation and Management

Two Consortiums have been selected to implement QUDORAT program as follows:

·         Near East Foundation Consortium (NEF), JUHOD and Dajani Consulting, to implement the program through governorates of: Amman, Madaba, Karak, Ma’an, Jerash, Ajloun.

·         Noor Al Hussein Foundation Consortium: Noor Al Hussein Foundation and Cooperative Housing Foundation, CHF International – Jordan, to implement the program through the governorates of  Zarqa, Irbid, Mafraq, Balqa, Aqaba, and Tafeeleh

 

Components:

·           Capacity Building for civil societies

·           Dispensing Income-generating projects

·           Studying and reviewing the legislative environment

·           Implementation of basic infrastructure services identified by local communities.

 

Achievements

·         The improvement of the surrounding circumstances of Community Based Organizations (CBOs), (economically & socially).

·         The access of CBOs' participation in managing the developmental process.

·         The improvement of CBOs' efficiency in serving their local communities by capacity building 90 of them.

·         The use of local investment opportunities for CBOs' best interest and implementing 63 productive projects.

·           The support & enhancement of the legislative environment for CBOs' concern.

·           The enhancement of Investment partnerships with the private sector.
